I Bury the Living (1958)
Starts out like a great creepy episode of The Twilight Zone. Ends more like an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. You might be disappointed that it is not creepier.

The After Dark series of fimls are usually pretty bad, so my expectations for this were quite low. Mulberry St. (2006) is a zombie film set in post 9-11 New York. The zombie virus is spread by rats that have begun biting people with more frequency. Victims turn into zombies and slowly mutate into a rat/human hybrid. It is a good low budget film. It could be even better if they got rid of the few cheesy fight scenes and the overacted macho posturing therein.
I see parallels to 28 Days Later, but I think the goal here was to have the city turn against its people and to have you root for the people to take back their homes. It has a blatant message about post 9/11 New York to convey.
